Netizens react

People have given their reactions to Manoj Muntashir’s apology note. One wrote, “Mistake sabhi se hoti hai iske liye ham sab aapke iconic songs and articles ko nhi bhul sakte jai shiya Ram.” Another wrote, “Film ne Paisa Kama liya hai ab Maafi maang lete hain!” One of them commented, “I believe your mistake was that you thought teh Ramayan needs to be changed for the “modern generation”. That is not true at all. The Ramayana, just the way it was written by Maharshi Valmiki, resonates with every human no matter what day or age they live in. Tampering with a sacred epic to make it suitable as a masala film is really narrow minded. I hope from next time you and all film producers remember this. Hope you have learnt from your mistake. Jai Shree Rama.”
