Box Office Collection: ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘OMG 2’ released together on August 11 and the strong storylines of both the movies have left people confused as to which one to watch first. The story of ‘Gadar 2’ is based on India and Pakistan whereas ‘OMG 2’ is based on the education system of India in which the importance of sex education is explained. Both the films have received positive response from the audience and critics and are doing exceptionally well at the box office.
‘Gadar 2’ box office collection on second day of its release
Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel’s movie ‘Gadar 2’ had a very strong start at the box office, making Rs 40.10 crore on the first day. The movie continued to do well on the second day, earning a huge Rs 43 crore. According to Sacnilk, the movie has now collected a total of Rs 83.10 crore in India in just two days of its release.
Anil Sharma is the director of Gadar 2, which features Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in the lead roles. This movie is the second installment of the successful film ‘Gadar’ from 2001. The story takes place in the 1970s and follows Sunny Deol’s character, Tara Singh, as he goes to Pakistan to save his son from the Pakistani army.
Day 2 box office collection of ‘OMG 2’
The movie ‘OMG 2,’ starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam, showed an increase on its second day at the theaters and collected a whopping Rs 14.50 crore. The film’s total collection in two days has been around Rs 24.76 crore, as estimated by Sacnilk.
Directed by Amit Rai, the movie ‘OMG 2’ has been in controversy since the makers revealed the posters and teaser. Some reports revealed that the film was delayed by the censor board because the board wanted to be very careful about the movie’s religious topic.
