This actor, since his return to the cinema after a short break, has been creating history on history. First, it was with Pathaan, released on January 2023, and now with his second film of the year, Jawan. The testament to the actor’s hold in Indian cinema is unmatched as Jawan crossed Pathaan’s record and has hence become the first Bollywood movie to reach Rs 300 crore in just 4 days.
Jawan crosses 300 crore mark in India
Jawan has made a total box-office collection of 316 crore in India. The film became one of the highest advance-booked movies in Indian cinema. Moreover, this movie made 75 crores on its opening day, and reached an increase of 81 crore on Sunday, setting a new record. Previously the record was held by the other Shahrukh Khan starter Pathaan. On Monday, the movie netted a total of 30 crore in India, with maximum viewers in Hindi, then Tamil and Telugu. Moreover, this made history becoming the fastest Hindi movie to reach the 300 crore mark. Not only this, the movie crossed a total of 500 crore at the global box office, making approximately 530 crore worldwide. This is enough to know the power of Shahrukh Khan and his hold on people’s hearts.
