In a candid conversation with Aaj Tak, Rao opened up about his deteriorating familial relationships. Having consumed poison in his previous attempt, Rao found himself isolated and abandoned, with not a single family member visiting him during his hospitalisation. Despite sharing the same residential complex, he felt estranged from his kin, who neither spoke to him nor contributed to his medical expenses.
