National Film Awards 2023: Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon triumph as best actresses; Allu Arjun grabs first best actor, check out the complete list

National Film Awards 2023: The National Film Awards are really important and crucial awards for the Indian film industry.They are given out at a big event in New Delhi every year. The President of India gives the awards to the winners. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the event couldn’t happen for 2 years. Last year, they had the 68th National Film Awards to honour movies which were released in 2020. On August 24, they organised the 69th National Film Awards at a press meeting in New Delhi. At this event, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon got their first National Film Awards for being the best actresses. They got these special awards for their blockbuster movies Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi. Whereas Allu Arjun has received his first best actor award for his blockbuster film ‘Pushpa: The Rise.’ Apart from these, check out the complete list of films and artists who have won this prestigious award.

Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, and Allu Arjun shine at 69th National Film Awards

The 69th National Film Awards proved to be the best for Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon as both the actresses won the first National Film Award for Best Actress of their career. Alia has received the award for Gangubai Kathiawadi and Kriti Sanon for Mimi. Apart from these two, South superstar Allu Arjun also won the first best actor award at the 69th National Awards for his iconic role in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.
