Parineeti Chopra is getting married to her politician lover, Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha. The wedding will take place at ‘The Leela‘ in Udaipur. While all eyes were on elder cousin Priyanka Chopra, who was scheduled to come for the wedding today, rumours stated that contrary to her earlier intentions, PeeCee would not be attending. She appears to have just verified this with her post.

Priyanka posted on Instagram, “I hope you are as happy and content as this on your big day little one, always wishing you so much love,” followed by the hashtag “new beginnings.” According to another source, PeeCee tried to rearrange things and had a plan in place to attend the wedding, but due to last-minute commitments, she may not be able to make it.

Meanwhile, the couple began their pre-wedding festivities in Delhi with an ardas in a Gurudwara before their Udaipur wedding. Parineeti and Raghav dressed in pastel pink for the event. Ardas is a Sikh ritual that is performed as part of a Gurudwara devotional session. It is a Sikh prayer performed before or after accomplishing any big work.
Parineeti took her wedding lehenga to her close friend and celebrity designer Manish Malhotra. For the wedding attire, the couple chose a modest and understated motif.
