The two main points of contention for viewers and critics alike are the less than stellar visual effects and what many deem as ill-conceived dialogues. Amid this growing controversy, the creators of this Prabhas-starrer have taken a rather unusual step. They have chosen to revisit and revise the contentious dialogues, promising a new and improved version in cinemas soon.
A Promise to the Public: Makers Commit to Redrafting Film’s Dialogues
Adipurush had kept fans eagerly awaiting its release for half a year. However, upon its release, the film was instantly targeted for its allegedly subpar visual effects and problematic dialogues, some of which have already gone viral. Responding to the public outcry, the film’s makers have committed to revising the controversial dialogues and re-releasing the movie.
The film’s team released a statement saying, “Adipurush has been met with a resounding response from audiences worldwide and continues to win over hearts across all demographics. We are dedicated to making this visual marvel an unforgettable cinematic experience and have decided to modify the film’s dialogues – taking into account public feedback and audience sentiment.”

The statement further indicated, “The creators are currently revisiting the disputed dialogues to ensure they align with the fundamental spirit of the film. These changes will be reflected in theatres in the coming days. This decision demonstrates that, despite impressive box office collections, the team values audience sentiment above all else, reinforcing their commitment to public harmony.”
Screenwriter Manoj Muntashir Shukla Breaks Silence on Dialogue Controversy
Manoj Muntashir Shukla, the talent behind the film’s dialogues, has responded to the controversy via a heartfelt Twitter post. He states that although he penned over 4000 lines for Adipurush, the backlash focused on just a handful of them, overshadowing the lines where he celebrated the virtues of Shri Ram and the purity of Maa Sita.
Justifying his post, he said, “This post is necessary because your feelings matter most to me. I can put forth countless arguments defending my dialogues, but it won’t alleviate your discontent. Therefore, in collaboration with the film’s producer-director, we’ve decided to rework some of the dialogues causing distress. They’ll be incorporated into the film this week.”
