Trevor Noah, the comedian, recently cancelled his shows in Bengaluru, leaving his fans disappointed. This comedian has written various books and has performed stand-up comedy in many countries in the world. However, he is mainly famous for his late-night comedy talk show and news program on Comedy Central called The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He has also hosted several other shows and events. Although a very successful show, The Daily Show ended in 2022 after being on air for 7 years, as we wanted to explore other areas of life. On top of this, one of the biggest reasons he left the show was to do shows all over the world and travel. Recently, he visited India for his ‘Off the Record’ tour but had to unfortunately cancel Bangalore shows due to technical issues.

Trevor Noah’s love for India

Since the end of his show, Trevor Noah has expressed his gratitude and love towards India. He is aware of the amount of fans he has in the country and found out about it when he visited India. He said, “What a journey it’s been. The show has grown around the world. I recently went to India for the first time and people there supported everything that we have done on the show. I found myself filled with gratitude for the journey. It’s been amazing. It’s something that I never expected.”. Since then, he has expressed his desire to perform in the country.

Trevor Noah’s Bengaluru shows cancelled

During his tour, ‘Off the Record’, the comedian toured India and has already performed shows in Delhi NCR at the JLN stadium on 22nd, 23rd and 24th September, 2023. After that, he was supposed to perform at the Manpho Convention Centre in Bengaluru. However, the team faced several technical issues because of which the audience could not hear the comedians on the show, as informed by Noah. Because of this, both shows have been cancelled, leaving fans upset. Moreover, he apologised to everyone who came all the way to attend the show or had built excitement for it. He assured everyone that he and his team tried everything and would also assure a full refund for everyone who had booked the tickets. He is now set to perform in Mumbai on 30th September and 1st October.
