Fans from all corners of the globe joined in the celebration both in person and through livestreams, making the occasion truly global. The highlight of the day was an extraordinary fireworks display over the Han River, choreographed to the group’s greatest hits.
Jungkook Brings Comfort to ARMYs with His Voice
Despite his engagements in Los Angeles, Jungkook’s presence was deeply felt as he introduced the fireworks show. His narration, set against the mesmerising display and classic BTS tracks like “Boy With Luv”, “Butterfly”, “Spring Day”, “DNA”, “Idol”, “Fake Love”, “Mic Drop”, “Run BTS”, and their latest “Take Two”, created an emotionally resonant moment for the fans. Jungkook’s comforting voice struck a chord, as he said, “Like how the fireworks light up the dark night in a beautiful way, thank you for lighting up our nights brightly when we had nothing.”
RM’s Interaction and Enlistment Announcement
During the FESTA, held in Han River Park, Yeouido, Seoul, RM took the stage to interact with fans, setting the ambience with his pleasant and fluent speech. In a moment of surprise, he subtly indicated his impending military enlistment, stating “I will join the army soon,” leaving fans with mixed emotions.
Special Appearances by V and Jungkook: Dedication Despite Distance
Despite their physical absence, V and Jungkook were the stars of the day. Currently overseas, V expressed his original intention to be at the event, while Jungkook patiently awaited the live broadcast early in the morning in Los Angeles. Their expressions of longing to see their fans clearly illustrated their love for the ARMY. RM appreciated the individual efforts by the members, expressing his eagerness for future collaborations and teased, “I frequently meet Jungkook at the studio, and I’m also preparing something fun.”
