On the eve of June 19, Upasana was rushed to Apollo Hospital, where she successfully gave birth to an adorable baby girl as the clock struck twelve. Following a four-day stay at the hospital, both the mother and the baby are in excellent health and have been released, signifying the beginning of an exhilarating journey into parenthood. The couple, alongside Ram Charan’s mother Surekha, were seen exiting the hospital, with their precious newborn cradled lovingly in their arms.
RRR Star Shares First Moments with Daughter
Ram Charan, who is set to charm audiences in the highly anticipated film RRR, shared his delight as he introduced his newborn to the world. Accompanied by his wife Upasana and mother, they journeyed to the house of his father, the iconic actor Chiranjeevi. Despite shielding their little one’s face from the cameras, the joy in the proud parents’ faces was evident.
A Handcrafted Cradle and a Special Tune
To mark the arrival of their newborn, the couple had a handcrafted cradle created by survivors of human trafficking. In addition, the singer of RRR, Kaala Bhairava, composed a touching melody dedicated to Ram Charan’s daughter, making the occasion all the more special.

‘Mega Princess’ Welcomed by Family and Fans
The newborn, lovingly referred to as the ‘Mega Princess’, brought about a celebration among both family and fans. Ram Charan’s family, including actor Allu Arjun, visited the hospital to share their joy and blessings. The couple has now moved back into Chiranjeevi’s house, hoping for their daughter to grow surrounded by the love and care of her grandparents. Chiranjeevi, the proud grandfather, warmly welcomed his ‘little Mega Princess’, expressing his happiness and pride on Twitter.
In a minor hiccup, a photo claiming to be of Ram Charan’s daughter went viral on social media, which the actor’s manager promptly clarified as misinformation.
