Prabhas upcoming movies: The whispers are growing stronger that South Indian cinema’s superstar, Prabhas, known for his depiction of Lord Ram in the contentious film Adipurush, is slated to take on another mighty mythological character, Karna, in a modern reimagining of the great Indian epic, the Mahabharat. Though this news is still awaiting an official nod, it undoubtedly has the audience’s anticipation soaring.

Project K, directed by the acclaimed Nag Ashwin, is reportedly the platform for Prabhas’ next mythical performance. It’s being said that this much-anticipated film will draw inspiration from the Hindu epic, Mahabharat, and will portray the modern day Karna, played by Prabhas. It also suggests an intriguing take on the tenth incarnation of Vishnu. However, this isn’t just a typical epic rehash; the film promises to be an amalgamation of faith, fantasy, and science fiction.

Producer Ashwini Dutt revealed earlier that the film is not only a graphic-intensive project but also ropes in several internationally acclaimed stunt choreographers to orchestrate breathtaking action sequences. With almost 70% of the shooting already completed, the film promises to be a visual treat.
