Devoleena Bhattacharjee: Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee recently made it to the headlines for her unexpected marriage to longtime boyfriend Shanawaz Sheikh. Blessings have been poured in for the couple ever since they got married, but they have also faced online bullying and abuse.

Devoleena speaks up on trollers
Devoleena has finally spoken out about the constant hate on social media. She expressed shock and sadness when reading such comments in an interview.
“I don’t need to justify anything to anyone, but there are people around who think that I’m pregnant and hence I got married all of a sudden. I’m shocked and feel sad for people who make such poor comments.”
She said, “This is another level of hypocrisy that you can’t let go of any single opportunity to torture someone. They can’t see anyone happy.”
She then questioned why it was so crucial for people to “poke” into other people’s lives.
To which she replied, “It’s frustrating at times. Why does one need to poke so much into someone’s life? But later I laughed at these comments and let go. I seriously don’t know what is coming next.”
Devoleena and Shanawaz relationship
Devoleena hide her relationship with Shanawaz, for nearly three years. After she shared photos of her and her husband from their wedding ceremony on December 14, she surprised her fans.
The couple chose a traditional ceremony in Lonavala after having a court wedding. Their closest friends and family members were present during their intimate wedding. Devoleena’s personal trainer at the gym is Shanawaz.

On the work front, Devoleena gained popularity for her portrayal of the Gopi Bahu in the popular serial “Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.” She also played a unique part in the revival of the show.
Devoleena has additionally appeared in other programmes including “Laal Ishq” and taken part in “Bigg Boss” for two seasons.
