Salman Khan is recognized as one of the fittest Bollywood actors even today. In fact, he is the one who popularized bodybuilding for actors. Currently, he is ready to welcome Tiger 3.

SALMAN'S FITNESS ROUTINE

Salman follows a strenuous routine and is a big time gym lover. He participates in gym religiously for 6 days a week. At the same time, he pays special attention to his diet.

LEG DAY

In his own words, Salman 'loves hating leg day'. Though it takes the most out of him, he never misses out on it and gives extra effort as well.

3 X 3 SCHEME

Salman follows a 3 X 3 scheme in the gym wherein he does heavy lifting for three days and cardio for another three days. He does so alternatively.

ASCENDING PYRAMID

The workout style opted by Salman is that of the Ascending Pyramid. In this, weights are gradually increased while decreasing the number of reps.

For cardio, Salman invests 15-20 mins on the treadmill. Thereafter, he follows circuit cardio routine which includes crunches, abs roll, twists, side planks, etc.

Salman also gives special attention to his back muscles by performing exercises such as wide-grip pull ups.
